Would You Like Chocolate With That? ~ Cake Mix Chocolate Cookies

I don't make cookies often enough - I'm not sure why that is. This cookie recipe is super easy and a nice dose of chocolate. And the cookies are soft, which I like.

Cake Mix Chocolate Cookies

1 Chocolate Cake Mix (Dark Chocolate Fudge is really good)
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix ingredients together. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-13 minutes. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet before removing.

That's it! I think it makes about 2 dozen - can't remember for sure.

And you could combine any kind of cake mix with any kind of chips to make new cookie creations - like mint or cinnamon chips in the chocolate, or strawberry cake with vanilla chips - there are so many possibilities. Might be fun for the kids to make up their own cookie flavors!
