Works-for-me-Wednesday at Rocks In My Dryer is all about recipes with 5 ingredients or less today. That means there will over two hundred wonderful recipes to choose from, so make sure you check it out!
I feel that it is my DUTY to give you a 5 ingredient or less recipe for SWEETS, seeing how my blog includes chocolate (though this particular recipe does not)! **Edited to add: How is it that I did not consider M&M's as chocolate?? So YES - there is chocolate in this recipe - LOL! And why did nobody point that out to me? :) ** And afterward I'll give you several links to other yummy 5 ingredient or less recipes that I have posted before.
This one is really good - very sweet, so only have a little. It is also nice for gift-giving (we make it for teachers and relatives often at Christmas-time).
Vanilla Party Mix
1 (10 oz.) pkg. miniature pretzels
5 cups rice chex cereal
1 (1 lb.) pkg. M&Ms (I use holiday colors when available - red, white & blue for the 4th?)
2 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla chips
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
In a large bowl, combine pretzels, cereal, and M&Ms; set aside. In a small, microwave-safe bowl, combine chips and vegetable oil. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir, and microwave at high for 10 more seconds. Stir until smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and mix well. Spread onto waxed paper and allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
Hope you try it out! Enjoy!
Here are a few other 5 ingredient or less dessert recipes from my blog:

I wonder if you could do that mix on top of the stove. I don't use a microwave. I know I know lol. Maybe I'll give it a shot. It sounds good. I love quick snacks.
