You're supposed to pretend that the last post was #199 so that this one can be #200 (messed up due to lack of internet Friday)!
I am so happy to be at 200 posts! It was fabulous to make it to 100 and 200 came faster than I thought. I figured something exciting should be happening at my 200th...so I started an Etsy shop!
I have been toying with the idea for months, but I usually don't actually follow through on my many "business" ideas. With all that I have seen and learned about Etsy over the last months, I thought "Why not?" I had actually already collected most of the items with this idea in mind - so there's really nothing to lose.
My shop is called Pretty Potables and features unique gift baskets that contain a combination of new and used cups, mugs, teapots, etc. and related items. I have an ad on my sidebar that you can check out or you can go to www.lisa413.etsy.com to see my shop! I will be adding a few more items over the next day or so.
Here are a couple of examples:
For the month of December, I am offering a little something extra to my wonderful readers and friends. If you make a purchase from my shop, I will include a half-dozen homemade biscotti with your order (your choice of double chocolate walnut or dried cranberry). When you purchase, just let me know that you are a reader of my blog and your choice of biscotti flavor!
If you know anyone that might be interested in the items in my shop, I would really appreciate it if you would refer them to me. I hope to make a little extra money to contribute to our family and to help pay for things like shipping costs of blog giveaways - LOL!
Thank you all for coming by and reading my blog! And thank you for all the wonderful comments - bloggers love comments (hint, hint)!
Have a wonderful, blessed weekend!
How exciting my friend. I hope it takes off. You are very talented and the baskets are very pretty.

Your shop looks very nicely put together. I like the baskets too. Embarking on a new venture is scarey isn't it? Same way with me and my photography! I have not been on the computer the last couple days, very busy with photo shoots, and then of course the OU Football game! Which I fell asleep during the 4th quarter! I can't believe it. Woke up and heard we won, so that is all that mattered. Plus I have it DVRed! Good grief!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, congrats, congrats. What more can I say about two wonderful achievements?
ReplyDeleteIt's been a little while since I've come to visit you. Glad I came on party day. ;) I love your baskets, so I hope you do well with them!
