Yay - we made it to Friday (and it's my son's last day of school - woo hoo!)! Instead of Chocolate Friday today, it's Dessert Friday. That doesn't mean no chocolate, it just means that we also allow the non-chocolate desserts to come hang out with the chocolate.
I do happen to have chocolate for you today - very good chocolate! I'm talking See's candy, people! Stick with me for giveaway details. Father's Day is approaching so I want to help out those chocolate-loving Dads! I can think of 2 good reasons to give chocolate to dads: 1-they probably really like it and wish you'd give it to them more often, and 2-they'll probably share some with you! :)
See's Candies has some really cute Father's Day themed candy.
If you don't have a store near you, you can order it and have it mailed.
Did you know that See's Candies has been around for more than 85 years? They have over 200 stores, a few of which are close to me! I stop in regularly to stock up on one of our favorite candies (shhh, it's not chocolate!) - Peppermint Twists. And of course, when I stop in, I am always given a free candy to sample. Yum! And I adore their truffles!
Good news for you - and maybe for the dads in your life if you share! See's Candies graciously gave me something to give away - a certificate good for one free pound of candy! Wow!! All you have to do to enter is tell me which See's candy is your favorite or would be your favorite! I'll keep the giveaway open through Sunday evening and announce the winner on Monday so I can mail your certificate in time for you to get a Father's Day gift! **ETA - I have decided to extend the giveaway through Monday evening, 6/8!**
Now it's your turn to link up some chocolate or desserts today! Yes, Mr. Linky looks a little different, but don't be scared - just click on the button to link up or see all the yummy links.
I'll even show you a couple of desserts that I posted on my other blog:
