Savor 7 {Saturday}
SCRIPTURE:
Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
STORY TELLER: If you're on Facebook - you might have a Facebook page for a blog or business and/or you might be a Liker of pages. Either way - this post is good info to know about how Facebook pages are working these days and how you can help. Check it out over at Christian Mommy Blogger!
SOCIAL: I attended a party this week! OK, it was a Twitter party for West Coast Christian Bloggers {#WCCBloggers}, but still fun! Are you on Twitter? I have been blessed with many special friendships there. Feel free to follow me - I'm @stop4chocolate.
SILLY: My brother-in-law ended up spending the night unexpectedly last weekend. After we got back from dinner, he said, "OK, you're always making fantastic desserts and I'd like some - what do you have? Where is it?" And he started opening up cupboards and the refrigerator. The funny thing is that from the recipes I make and recipes I post online - people assume that my house is filled with dessert! Actually, I rarely make dessert just for the family! I make it to take to other people to eat or I will eat it all and hubs doesn't want the temptation either. We managed to scrounge up a little bit of leftover vanilla ice cream in the freezer for my bro-in-law. Close call as we often don't even have that around!! :) How often does your family eat dessert?
SNAPSHOT: The path that hubs & son worked on making in our front yard last weekend! Still more to do in the yard, but I'm likin' the path {that I call *the path of least resistance*}! :)
SIPS: If you're in the mood for a cozy drink in Fall weather, but you don't want coffee, you might like my recipe for Snow-Topped Tea Nog that I posted at Frugal Plus last year. You could switch out the tea I used for a pumpkin tea - yum! Do you have a favorite cozy drink?
SWEETS: At The Frugal Girls this week, I shared a recipe for Pumpkin Pie Pudding with Maple Sugar Nuts & Cream. So so yummy!! Hmmm...I guess this is the sort of thing that makes people think there must be some delicious dessert on hand here at all times - LOL! :)
I hope you enjoyed my 7 things to savor! Your turn! Write a Savor 7 {Saturday} post listing 7 blessings from the week and come back to link up - or share about your blessings in the comments. Please link to the actual post, not just your blog. And please include a link back to this post so people can find it! You're welcome to use the graphic at the top in your post or sidebar. I loved your 7 things to Savor. And I just told my daughter yesterday that if we had junk food in the house we'd be 300lbs because we both have such sweet tooth's. So why did your brother have to spend the night? Was it because he went into a sugar coma? LOL!
ReplyDeleteBig in order to tweet I'd have to have a phone that could do something besides make phone calls size hugs to you!
Love ya!
