Savor 7 {Saturday}

SCRIPTURE: This one seems like an excellent verse to keep in mind this time of year!

Proverbs 19:11 The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his glory is to overlook a transgression.

STORY TELLER: Pictures tell a story too and I love the photos that my friend Kristal shares over at Knit 1 Kids 4. Stop over and just scroll through the last few posts - there are some fabulous photos of birds! Plus she regularly posts Chocolate Friday recipes - so how can you go wrong?! :)

SOCIAL: I volunteer in the office at son's Christian school 1 day a week and also do some grading for a couple teachers. It really is a social outing - like an all-day coffee date with my best friend - LOL! I enjoy all my chats with teachers, staff, parents, and friends that I see there!

SILLY: More fun than silly - I've been sharing mystery cover photos on my Facebook page this week and having people guess what they are! The answer to the one that's up today will be posted around 5pm PST. But I won't be able to keep doing it daily. I think I'll do it every Friday on my page though!

SNAPSHOT: Had a pretty big rain storm a few days ago. Here's a pic of the flooded creek outside the building where we have church.

SIPS: I was looking through some of the recipes I have pinned on my Yummy Things To Make board and keep wanting to try this recipe for Coffee Punch! It sounds like it would be fun to serve at a Christmas party!

SWEETS: Each day this month I'm sharing one of my fave cookie or treat recipes on my Facebook page! Stop by to drool! Today's recipe was Scottish Shortbread {yum}.
