I Really Do Post Stuff On My Facebook Page

It might not seem like I ever say anything on my Facebook page {if you're a "Liker" that is and if you're not----> Just click here and click "Like" :D}, but I do. Really. It's just that Facebook isn't showing it to you. "Free" just isn't what it used to be! :)

I've talked about Facebook before and tried to help you understand a bit of what was going on {A Few Facebook Facts - Get a Cup of Coffee First}. Much of the info in that post still stands - the more you interact with a page that you Like, the more often you will see them in your newsfeed - maybe. I have friends that do interact and still don't get all my posts in their newsfeed.

If you're not seeing posts from your favorite Facebook pages {Like mine, right? - LOL!} in your newsfeed, there are a few things you can try.

• Click "Like" and comment on posts from your fave pages whenever you do see them and stop by the pages every so often.
• Check on the left side of your Facebook feed - find the new "Pages Feed". Click on that and see if your favorite pages are showing up there.
• Hover over the "Liked" button of a fave page, scroll down and click "Add to interest lists" to see all updates from fave pages in one list {info on lists from Musings of a Housewife here}.
• Hover over the "Liked" button of a fave page, scroll down and click "Get Notifications" - this means that every time your fave page posts something, it will show up in your notifications. This has just recently started working consistently for me. Word of caution - if you do this for pages that post many times per day, you may be overwhelmed by the number of notifications you have.

There's more Facebook info than that, but this just gives the basics to help you see posts from your favorite Facebook pages. Long gone are the days of actually seeing a page's posts just because you "Like" that page!

I do try to make it worth your while to stop by my page on Fridays by having FB Friday Fun! I put up a mystery cover photo for you to guess, a trivia question, a get-to-know-you type question, a recipe for your weekend, and sometimes more. It's fun, but it would be more fun if more people actually saw it and joined in - LOL! :)
